Don't go with a transmitter. At least not the type that plugs into your cigarette lighter. Visit Crutchfield.com. They have some interesting solutions for car audio and mp3 use, especially if your aftermarket radio has an aux input.

I'd consider upgrading to an aftermarket stereo that actually has an aux jack for an mp3 player. Ditch the cassette player and join us all in the wonderful world of CDs.

Radio Shack and other stores sell an adapter shaped like a cassette, that has a cord running out of one end. Plug that into your mp3 player, pop in the cassette-adapter thingy, and you're in business.
I had a radio transmitter for my iPod, I didn't like it - it didn't work well, kept losing the station. Great idea, but didn't work, even when I reinstalled software etc.

See, I particularly have have been given a Cassette participant put in 2 days returned because of the fact I had a 12 CD changer which will relay songs via the FM...that's continually greater appropriate to have a CD participant yet going via ur constraints and the vehicle it could be sensible to in good condition a cassette participant..i'm hoping Banglore has many FM channels to cater to ur temper...so some distance as Delhi is in contact, u can do with in basic terms a FM participant in ur vehicle as there's a style of greater advantageous than 8 FM stations working continuously and taking part in solid no.s for all time...

Use a radio transmitter. You plug it into the headphone jack on you mp3 and tune your car radio to an obscure station like 88.1 or something and your music is broadcast over that station.
