If you have a brand name you could contact the manufacturer and see if they will sell to you, usually via credit card if you don't want to go through a distributor - manufacturer should be listed on the label - ask for inside sales or customer service, tell them you are interested in buying bulk (also ask if they have price breaks) and they should be able to accommodate you

What do you mean by quantity? If you are talking a half dozen total collars that really does not count as a wholesale lot. However many independant retailers would cut you a break on a quantity if you pay cash. Most distributors will not sell to a private person without a brick and mortar store- remeber not only are the stores buying a few collars but a few hundred dollars in other supplies as well on a weekly basis.

If you are indeed buying dozens you might check with a company called Weaver leather- I am not sure if they sell direct or not but they do make a wide variety of collars, and might be open to selling direct.

Probably - people do tend to associate spike collars with mean dogs. I put a spike collar on my first dachshund - a cute Harley Davidson one, with matching lead - just because it looked cute. A little boy came up to me at a resort and asked why my dachshund has a "mean dog collar" on, so obviously this is a very prevalent belief. I really didn't think anyone over the age of 10 would mistake my little dachsie for a killer, but with a big dog, it might not be such a good idea. Prepare for questionable opinions if you do decide to do it.

Have you thought of going to a pet store and asking them were they get theirs from or asking who their whole sale dealer is. Or you could just go to the pet store and buy a couple and see how that works.

I detest those types of collars. But I am sure you can contact any dog trainer and go thru them to order. They sell all the products so they have a good outlet.
