I do not know Keloid as a disease.
I know keloid as scar tissue left after an injury to the skin. In darker skinned people the scar can be quite disfiguring. In fair skinned people a keloid does not seem to form as much.
I have know some dark skinned people who have had to go to a plastic surgeon to have keloid removed. They do a special procedure so this time the scar will be less visable.

keliods is not a "disease". it is the body making to much cartilage during the healing process of a wound. they maybe cosmetically removed, but it doesn't mean that they won't come back.
