Science maybe? Coz humans since the beginning of time have always wanted to believe in a superior being, they just changed names or were forced to believe in someone's else's god ( Zeus, Ra, The Sun, I'm guessing even fire was a god once upon a time)..

Will science ever replace God? Probably not. Science will spend the rest of eternity trying to disprove or prove God while God controls everything and thus there is no science. Faith in God, especially the Christian god, takes a type of blind, mindless belief that humans are famous for. There will always be a type of god around because science doesn’t have compassion and people can’t handle the thought that we are just wobbling around in the universe with only the laws of nature holding us up.

There will continue to be many gods and forms of gods but I'm afraid christianity will remain to be the most popular. Which is odd because their bible even states that their will be only a few, but they all think that they're right.

gods dont really go away there are even gods today that still exist its just that they want humans to learn to become self gods not worship them but human selves as god. the word god is a title not a name so anyone can call them selves god and get away with it

There is but one, true God. That is Elohim. The Father. The other gods that man have made are just that: MAN MADE. They have no power or authority, just get worshiped by man. Bunch of crap, if you ask me, but interesting nonetheless.
