LOL... I guess the dead cattle got boils, aye?

Oh, and apparently it's "ok" for the OT god to be all rage and violence and killing and PMS and then the NT god to be flower and puppies and sunshine and forgiveness.

Weird 180, I think.

I cant answer the NT comparisons because I dont follow that stuff. As for the OT:

EX 9:3-6 God destroys all the cattle (including horses) belonging to the Egyptians.
Hebrew word here for livestock is Miqnei.

EX 9:9-11 The people and the cattle are afflicted with boils.
Hebrew word here is Behema. Different than above.

EX 12:12, 29 All the first-born of the cattle of the Egyptians are destroyed.
Hebrew word here is Behema, same ones that got the boils.

EX 14:9 After having all their cattle destroyed, then afflicted with boils, and then their first-born cattle destroyed, the Egyptians pursue Moses on horseback.
Here you assume that a country like Egypt would not try to replenish their military by bringing in more animals to recoup the loss. If any military was out of bombs, guns, tanks etc they would quickly restock from allies if needed. All of these things didnt happen over night and there was actually normal life activities taking place outside of the story whether people like to believe that or not.

Men wrote the Bible but were inspired by God. When several people see an auto wreck they would all describe the same wreck differently but in TRUTH it was a wreck. Same way with the Bible. But also, the original Greek and Hebrew may be slightly different than our translation. I would not get hung up on things that were not pertaining to a doctrine or salvation. We are to study "line upon line" and with the help of the Holy Spirit to obtain truth. There will always be something to doubt or why bother to have faith?
#1- bottom line is the cattle and people had sores, the first born of cattle were destroyed. We do not know how much time was in between that plaque and when the Moses and his people left. The Egyptians could have acquired more horses and live stock by then.
#2- God is a God of love, but sin seperates us from God. Sin has to be destroyed. If we choose (God allows us a choice because He is a God of love) to hang onto sin then we will be destroyed with it. He is going to destroy Satan and his followers because they chose to sin. Satan wants to make war with God....one has to win. God is the creator of Satan...who do you think has more power and is going to win?
#3- We are to honor our parents, we are also to honor our leaders in government. But if we have to make a choice of obeying our parents and leaders OR obeying God then we have to choose God. In that case families will be divided.

You must be studying very hard to be looking for these "contradictions". I wonder why that is? Could it be God is drawing you to Himself? He is not willing that ANY should be lost. You still have a chance. The very fact that any seeming contradiction should bother you...and that you are on this site is proof that it is a concern of yours. Why is that? I will pray for you now that you will not be able to stop thinking about this until you have made a choice.

Is God the author of confusion?

1 Corinthians 1:27
God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion....

i'm sorry yet all of your "contradictions" have solutions. Jehovah God can no longer lie. party: Adriel change into given Saul’s oldest daughter Merab as spouse, inspite of the actuality that she had earlier been promised to David. (1Sa 18:17-19) All of Adriel’s 5 sons were later surrendered for execution to assist compensate for Saul’s tried annihilation of the Gibeonites. (2Sa 21:8, 9) in this account Michal fairly than Merab is spoken of because the mummy of Adriel’s 5 sons. because Michal died childless (2Sa 6:23) and is nowhere spoken of as having been the spouse of Adriel, some translators view the arrival of Michal’s call as a scribal blunders. just about all Hebrew manuscripts, despite the indisputable fact that, use Michal’s call, and the classic rationalization is that Merab, Michal’s older sister, died early after having borne 5 sons to Adriel and that Michal thereafter undertook the declaring of her sister’s 5 boys, therefore ensuing of their being spoken of as her sons. Isaac Leeser’s translation reads at 2 Samuel 21:8: “And the 5 sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she had delivered up for Adriel.”

There were probably a family of Jews that were enslave in Egypt = 100-200 people.

They probably did killed all the first born in that Egyptian village, but the Egyptian Army came and pursued the Jews. Maybe a couple Egyptian soldiers died trying to cross the Nile.

You are so not even close to understanding the word of God.
In your first example, do you know the whole story or are you just picking and choosing to make a point?
And in your last little tyraid, again you miss the mark.
It is easy for any person to say that the Bible is full of contradictions. I even thought that way once. After I gave my life to Christ, I began to read and understand His word. If you are willing to read AND understand what is being stated in the Bible, you would no longer see contradictions. You would instead see teachings that will lead to a better and more productive life.

You are not reading these passages in context, ever thought that mabye the slaves owned cattle or that the egyptians bought more from other nations, as for God's character, just like we have different characteristics. When Jesus said to "hate" our parents He meant that we should be able to deny our parents for the sake of God (like if our parents said to deny Jesus we are to deny them and choose God, the true Father.)

1) Exodus 9:6 ...and all [kinds of] the livestock of Egypt died ... (Amplified Bible)

2) God is more than those.

3) We are to love and honor God above all (and before all else), even parents (if they try to keep their children from following God, then the child should disobey them in that thing). Christians are to obey the laws of the land, unless they will keep up from doing what God tells us to do.

Yeah, I'll research all of the words and let you know in a minute. My Bible says "All the livestock must mean 'most' because livestock appear yet in the next two plagues.
