Good Afternoon,
8 years ago my husband and I had a son born with a cleft lip and palate. He passed away a year later from a heart defect.
We would like to start a foundation that would award college scholarships to Seniors with similar medical difficulties and wondered if anyone Knows where to start??
Thank you very much.

Fidel Ramos, a former Philippine president, had a problem with his lip.... some kid hit him with a pencil and cut his upper lip... and the scar remains... He has helped poor children with a cleft lip get an operation. You may want to contact him into some collaboration regarding kids with cleft lips... Let me know how I can help

Go talk to the financial aid people at your local college. They will have all the answers. Keep in mind that even a small scholarship covering books will be much appreciated by students.
