The best time to ask, was when he was dumping you. Why do you need to know? Is there something you would change? Or just to know? I would send an email, if I really really wanted to know. That way, he can answer it when he has time, its not so awkward. And just say "I know it over between us, but I just need to know, why did you dump me? Would you mind letting me know?" And leave it be. If he answers, there you are, if he doesn't leave it be. Good luck my dear, I am sure you will someone who thinks you are perfect soon!

well if he did dump u then the least he can do is explain some things to u, be prepared for whatever, the truth can be harsh sometimes..if he doesnt wanna talk then he isnt a real man. the best time to ask him is NOW..would u wanna ask him in like a year or somethin? hes gonna think your crazy after all that time. i mean, why torture yourself and do all the guessing if the truth can be totally opposite from what u think? just tell him u need to talk to him, meet up somewhere, best to talk face to face about things like these, and ask him.....good luck

Yes, ask him why. the best time is now because you have a right to know why he dumped you.

Why did you not ask when the dumping was taking place? Either way, if you are still on good terms, then just ask. If not, it is not worth the hassle to try to find out. TRUST ME!

There could be any number of reasons he "dumped" you. Do you really want to know? He probably wouldn't give you the true reason anyway and he may say something to hurt you even more. Just move on with your life.

If it was just recently (less than a week), calm down, then pick up the phone and ask him.
If it has been less than a month, email him and ask him.
If it's been longer than a month, I strongly suggest you let it go. Asking him why will just hurt you worse.
I wish you all the best in love.

yes it perfectly OK to ask why you deserve a reason. Simply ask him"why don't you want to be with me" and don't nag him about it. If he chooses not to answer or you feel as though the answer he provided you with is not the truth leave it alone and move on.
The best time to ask would've been after he broke up with you.

If you just this minute broke up and he is still there, then just his reasons. If this happened yesterday or a week ago then DO NOT call him to find out. All you need to know is that sometimes things don't work out. If it doesn't work out then it's not meant to be. Before you go calling, emailing, texting, instant messaging or stalking him to find out why, just accept that it's over. If you go chasing him you show your insecurity and lack of self respect and people will see you as a fool. It's not meant to be, that's why he broke up with you.

Yes... everyone deserves an answer on the "WHY?" question. Ask him the soonest possible and be confident of your self while asking. Do not ever loose your self respect, because this will make your situation worse!
