Would it be worth it for me to pick up some fine Czech crystal and try to resell it in the states. Has anybody ever tried doing something similar and was it worth your time. Thanks, I appreciate the answers.

I live about 3 hours from Prague, just outside of Brno, the 2nd largest city in Cz. The other poster was right, you can get a lot of crystal over the internet these days, and it is hard to transport.

Having said that, if you decide to do it anyway, make a trip to Brno and buy it here. It is MUCH cheaper and the selection is just as good. Brno is a great place to visit as well.

Have a great trip and don't forget to order svickova ( pronounced Svee ch coe vah) yummy stuff!

Czech crystal is being widely sold in America - easily obtainable over the internet.
It's pretty hard to transport - there is a weight limit on the airplane and of course, there is always a danger of things getting broken or chipped.

I was in PRAGUE and They DO have a nice crystal. Whatever was cheap, you can get in the States. And whatever i liked was alooooooooooot of money. But it depends on your taste and a wallet. Have a good time.
