i have been chatting to a lady online and I think I've fallen in love with her. She also says she has the same feelings for me. Is this possible? We both want to meet each other but we are 1000's of miles apart. Can it work?

wow! You should both plan to meet up in a country halfway between the two of you. How romantic! Go for it, otherwise you will always wonder!

Just because you haven't met it doesn't mean that you haven't connected through the things you talk about and laugh about.

Haven't you seen 'You've got Mail' with tom hanks and Meg Ryan?

all these people on here saying she may not be the person she claims to be is a stupid thing to say, you could meet someone in the conventional way (in person over drinks etc) and they still might not be the person they claim to be...some people lie and some people don't.

I'm sorry to tell you this, and you might hate me for it but it is very impossible. She can tell you anything she want, because you are 1000 miles apart. How can you be that sure of her feelings? Her status? Her real person? There might be the chance that she is not who she is and she might not be telling you the truth.Maybe she's just bored with her situation and want some excitement? But if you've communicated through the phone or webcam before, there might be a chance she's telling the truth. But love is a really serious thing and doesn't develop through the superficial connection of the internet only.Good luck! You should look around you more =)

YES.
I met someone in the net 2.Its really hard to have a long distance relationship but i am trying to make things work coz u know why I HONESTLY AND SWEAR TO GOD THAT I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL.
I never lied 2 him as he do the same.
Hes not a MILLIONAIRE and i never think of USING HIM. He s a simple guy who needs 2 work everyday 4 his living.
Just like the normal gf/bf relationship we sometimes argue but my love 4 him is greater than any other "argument".
So whats the difference?.... nothing..oooppss... there's one.. physical contact....
...its the reason why i love him soo much bcoz he can wait 4 the right time...
when is the right time?its when he decide to go here. Hes from aus and I'm from phils. (so what will people think i only need hes citizenship, cant blame other coz it really happens, marrying foreigner 2 get d citizenship they want.)..i don't care what people think but theres only one way 2 show that I'm true to him..is to ask him leave EVERYTHING there and stay in phils. with me and start a new life..

Everything depends on you and ur partner.

It is possible to fall in love because comunication with the other sex is what makes ppl closer but the problem is 1- your to far away unless one of you can compromise into moving closer. And 2- I dont know how you feel about looks but maybe the attraction would not be there also remember some ppl lie about pictures its the internet. Good luck to the both of ya some things are possible.

It is most definitely possible. I met a guy on here just through random chatting while browsing online. It became a relationship, we were getting on souly for the purpose of talking to eachother. Eventually, we met, and we are now happily married for 2 years. Do I feel I was in love before we met, and were just talking online... most definitely!

No You may be in love with the idea of being in love but no you can't. Ask yourself what do you really know about this person besides what she has told you. You need to meet this person in person in order to be able to have any real feelings. You would buy a house or car before seeing them. ? Just becarefull there is a lot of wierd people out there.

YES IT CAN!, i Met my lovely wife via the internet, we talked for a while and i felt very comfortable talking to her, and used to look forward to it all the time, we then exchanged phone numbers and talked and finally met, anyway we got married in august and i really couldn't be any happier, so yes it can work, the question you have to ask yourself is do YOU think it can work? and ignore what other people say, if you have found your perfect partner then im happy for you, i know that i have :)

Good luck

wow that's a hard one. But don't lose hope with the heart anything is possible. Yes it is totally possible for you two to be in love. maybe you can make arrangement to meet every so often. if things seem to go good who ever doesn't have much to lose could maybe get up and go to the persons area and relocate. I hope this goes well for you and her!
