I dont exactly know why, so im hoping i can get some help. i work out 4-5 days a week and i have lost a drastic amount of weight since christmas of 2005. what im feeling sometimes is an uncomfort. if dont work out on one of my scheduled days, i feel really different physically. like im "bloated". even though i know thats not the true case. sometimes i eat whatever i want (cheat days) and sometimes i dont work out the 4-5 days. with that said, ive always maintained my weight loss. i have never gained weight since i started my workout routine. why do i feel "bloated", and more importantly, is it mind over body???

You have an obsessive thing about your weight. Somewhere in your life your weight became very important to you and this is not unusual these days. I have the same issue. If I am overweight the entire world is in chaos because everything revolves around my weight. I was obese as a child and my parents were unhappy about it. I was teased and so I was unhappy about it. I just want everyone to be happy so I diet and exercise constantly. I have even been anorexic twice. So the best thing to do is figure out what the real reason is for your obsession and teach yourself that it doesn't really matter as musch as you think it does. Good luck! You are not alone in this!

It most definitely is mind over body. If you physically see nothing to feel bloated about, then you shouldn't. However, there is something that you must work out between you and yourself. There must be some underlying motive or sentiment that is causing the bloating, analyze yourself more (meditation is good) and you'll come to a self-realization about the true root of the matter.

Are you taking any creatine supplements? Sometimes that may make you feel bloated on non-workout days, especially if you're eating junk food on top of it. If not, it's most likely in your head or your diet.

Mind over body means, your mind controls your body for your good.
It is only body over mind that affects us.
Keep your workout with a time frame, not in random.Likewise your eating habits.
