j'ai reconcontre mon nouveau patron pour la premiere fois
the last e in recontre has a accent mark slanting from left to right over it and the first e in premiere has an accent mark slanting from right to left over it
you do not say firstly in this sentence there is no such expression in english
only that you met your boss for the first time

Rencontrer has slightly the meaning of happening to meet someone. For your sentence I’d say: “j’ai fait d’abord la connaissance de mon nouveau chef”. When you're introduced to someone in French and you say: "I'm pleased to meet you" you say: "Heureux/heureuse de faire votre connaissance.Or if you really want to impress, "enchanté(e) de faire votre connaissance."
