Hi, there are a few reasons why your hair may not be growing as fast as your friend.
Perhaps your hair does not have enough nutrients to grow as fast or that your body is too acidic and thus your body too weak to promote fast hair growth.
You can try a detox like I did. I did it to lose weight and lost 15kg within 2 months.. but I also found tat my hair grew longer faster :)
You can see my before after pics here:

Same thing for when I was shedding hair 4 mths after I gave birth to my son.. hair grew back fast :)
Alternatively, you can try using this shower filter that I have as well. It helps to filter away chlorine to keep our hair and skin soft and smooth and because it gives out negative ions and Far infra red rays, that will energize the water and in turn energize our scalp to promote hair growth.
If you want more info, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com

Hair grow fast? That is seen to be true in stress but for others, stress encourages hair to fall. Any member of your family baldy? If its runs in the family, you can't do much to save your hair. Nevertheless, hair require tender care; harsh shampoo, scratching, pulling, dying, plying and hair drying, loss sleep etc may encourage hair roots to weaken, fall and or, slow the process of hair growth. However, from whatever stress, the hair need help, internally or externally. Food rich in Zinc and the BComplex may help to increase and quicken hair growth. Warm Coconut Oil may help. Usage of this oil regularly helps. Give these a try and let me and the world know if they help.

Some people's hair just grows faster than others.
There isn't any shampoo you can buy that is going to make your hair grow faster.
Try eating healthy, making sure you are getting all of your vitamins and nutrients.
That's the only thing that might help.

There is no perfect answer to this but you can definitely increase your intake of protein to aid better and healthier hair growth. The speed may be increased too as our hair needs the proteins as nutrients for growth. You can also consume more vegetable protein than meat protein too.

My chum lost a million/2 her eyebrow, and that i instructed her to apply the upward push Accelerator, and that i took merely 4 days rather of a week to enhance totally decrease back!! merely brush on some Accelerator with the applicator (if its a small patch. If its bigger, properly try pouring it into your hand and massaging in), and gently rub in. it works!!! :P do this three times each and every day for the quickest outcomes.

My sister in law is a beautician and my hair is very thin. She recommended a shampoo called Nioxin. It made my hair grow and it's thicker.

Just use shampoos that help with damaged hair. You can buy shampoo that helps with split ends and breakage. If this is your problem...use them, and it'll help the breakage..therefore helping it to grow longer!
