I've always thought that it was somebody who was really racist and set in old fashioned ways, very judgemental like.

The actual definition of a biggot is (and I quote) " a very closed minded person"

A person with zero tolerance for anyone who is different from themselves and who either verbalizes their ignorance or possibly become violent. A fool who feels that it is their way or no way.
