You should be able to tell from the range of responses here that it's impossible to tell what's wrong with you unless you see a doctor and probably have some tests done. Without examining you and getting a detailed history, there is absolutely no way to make a diagnosis. It could be anything from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder, caused by the shorter days in winter) to narcolepsy to encephalitis. The only advice you should listen to on this forum is to see a doctor.

See a doctor! Better safe than sorry, but you shouldn't be sleepy all the time if you get a normal amount of sleep and aren't drinkin' and drugin'! The headaches aren't good either. DOCTOR!

You might have sleep apnea. That is when you stop breathing while you are sleeping. You wake up tired and you are sleepy all the time. You should see a doctor. Sleep apnea can lead to heart problems

Hi. I was having that problem, too, and then I had to go see a doctor. Turns out I have mononucleosis, "The kissing disease" (though I haven't really been kissing anybody all that much)
But anyways, you should go see your doctor. It could be that or any other number of things.

Have you gotten any sore bumps on your neck or anything? Another sign of mono. =O

Try taking some brisk walks & breath really deeply. Lots of water. Lay off the caffine. You may need a vitamin.

if the problem is caused by lack of sleep, sleep itself is the answer.
if not, it could be one of a lot of medical problems, some of which are serious. best go see a doctor.
(and don't drink coffee when u go to meet the doc.)
