Why would someone want to ban the word "neutron?"

Due to Pres Bush, Global Warming, The Falling numbers of the common House Sparrow and the War in Iraq I think Not!!!

Remember in the 1970's when there was the Intense debate over "Global Cooling?" Not a Human, Animal Or Plant Would Survive the Intense Cooling...

I think that is ridiculous. This country is so far out of whack, we should be trying to fix other problems. Let's see the war in Iraq, the homeless, the economy....I could go on and on.

WHO CARES? If we ban the n-word that doesn't mean that we are eliminating racists. That is where the real problem is.

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE the United States and very proud to be an American and thankful that I do have freedom of speech. Which I think that if we banned the n word in entertainment we would be violating that right, that we fought so hard to have.

I am completely against any use of the word...either in the slang word used between African-Americans, or the hate word used by others.

However, I can't say that we should ban it completely until we ban all other hate words (for homosexuals, Mexicans, white people, black people, Asians, etc.).

It's an neverending battle of racism and prejudice...it's not going anywhere.

Ignorance is bliss...so why would the ignorant people want to actually learn something??!

Not to mention, and I'm just throwing it out there...there is the whole freedom of speech thing. If we ban anything in entertainment, you are walking on VERY thin censorship ice.

No. Though no one should say The N-word, or any racist term, we can't just ban it. Freedom of Speech is ment to protect the speech we dont like, not the speech we do.

Besides banning the N-word wont acoplish anything. A. People will just say other words, and B. people will still think it. Just becasue no one says the word wont change peoples racist. We need to trust that people will do the right thing, we cant force them to.

I think most of the world would rather see jesse jackson banned form public life. In my opinion He stole money from the church and admitted it on tv. He should be tried convicted and sentenced for the felony he committed.
Jesse is one of the most racist people alive in my opinion.
His origanization is nothing short of being a terrorist origanization in my opinion.
You will never be fre of the "N" word as long as there are ****** as they are the main (90 %) users of the word.
TYhe best thing people can do(blackand white alike is to forget jesee and al sharpton. Ignore them. File charges against them if they began to attempt to blackmail your company into donations to their mobs.

Well, that would ruin more than half of the "Black" shows, since on TV they are the one's who use it the most. You only see white people using it when it the show is about that era, mainly during the 50's and 60's... when it was a common word to use. I think even the black entertainers are going to have something to say about this one.

If Jesse Jackson had used that word it would have been O.K. How come we only hear from Jess when it involves a lot of publicity? When the spotlight is not on him, he has nothing to say.

I think people need to get over themselves. Its over. I dont know any blacks that were slaves and I dont know anyone who owned any. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and those clowns would have nothing to do if they didnt harp on this bullsh!t all of the time.

It's a horrible word, but if that is banned, a host of other words should be banned as well. There are racial slurs for every nationality.
