LOL...I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you because the same thing happened to me. I'm married though and I'd sooner die than bust a$$ in front of my hubby, even though he does not extend me the courtesy. I've fallen asleep while laying on my belly across his lap as he was rubbing my back and I woke myself up when I farted. He laughed hysterically. It happened once back when we were only dating while doing the same thing and he laughed and I, of course, was mortified, but Iaughed too. I also hated to use the bathroom, other than to pee but he lived about 45 minutes from my place and it really wasn't convienant to run home to use the toilet.
I had such a phobia of this that in high school when i was dating my first serious boyfriend, his family invited me to their condo at the shore for 10 days and I didn't use the bathroom for the entire 10 days I was there. I was so sick by the time we got home, I headed right upstairs to the potty. I was sick, and in pain, and miserable for most of the vacation.
Needless to say, I have gotten over this phobia and I think you will too. Now that doesn't mean that I fart in my husband's general direction every time I feel one creepin' up. I still try to not be a hog in front of him, unless I fall asleep. I have never consciously farted in front of him. Only when I'm asleep and you can't be held responsible for that. And we both enjoy a good laugh when it happens. If your boyfriend laughs, i think that's a good sign. If he packs his bags and heads for the hills...that's when you worry...

I have done the same thing. We had been together 6 months when it first happened to me. Now we just laugh about each others bodily functions. If he really doesn't care then why be uncomfortable? Don't be too embarassed b/c lots of couples share these unmentionable habits with each other. You will do things with your partner that you wouldn't dream of doing with anybody else. It is natural!

Though I wouldn't recommend farting contests I do suggest you lighten up a bit. It's natural. Obviously he loves you and everything about you. Be glad his reaction wasn't the opposite. I had a gf who did that on my leg once when she was sleeping. I actually got mad but laughed about it in the morning. I mean she was sleeping what could I do? lol!
My advice? Relax a little. You'd be surprised at the benefits are... I mean outside of farting.. lol

Its sooooooooooooo hard for us to do that in front of them!!! I know and I understand. But honey your not fooling them they know you do it and they know your trying to hide it. I would just let them rip anytime but some times you can't help it. I would say just go with the flow and if he loves ya which it sounds like he does he be there after your through. besides its a perfectly natural thing everyone does it!!!!

It's a human function, just be discrete when you have to! As far as bathroom, sorry but that is privacy time you don't need someone to help you by watching that's crazy!

Next time you two are cuddling and you get into the conversation of how much you love each other, and he asks you how much you love him, give him this answer.
"Enough to fart in front of you"
My ex-bf and I had a similar conversation and it had us busting up laughing. Just be yourself.

Well you live together so it's a natural occurence. He is gonna have to see you break wind at some time or other, that's why he thought you were an alien...coz you never did the most natural thing in front of him!!

Everybody does it! I wouldn't suggest making a habit of it, but if it happens, it happens.
