Hmm, not that I have that kind of relationship with religion but, I think I could make a try... "He or she that believes..."in God, perhaps? Or it could be just another way of talking about faith (not in anything particular, though) "and is baptized..."generally speaking, I don't think it has a literal meaning simply because it wouldn't work that well for the particular religion. There are hundreds of people who have not been baptized actually and if I am not mistaken the criteria used in the Last Judgement will clearly not be attached to the person's official religion..If I can remember that well, they will have to do with the amount of love a person offers to others. So, I suppose it refers to the extent to which each person applies what the religion has taught him/her and receiving salvation through that and not the kind of religion he/she "seems" to be in favour of. "Shall be saved, shall be damned..."From what I can still remember, God does not hold any power over people's lives. He is there to help them find their way...the right way and lead them back to heaven BUT, they are free to decide for themselves and the outcome of their choice is to be dealt with by them ALONE. So, I guess that people who have faith (in God or not) and are "baptized" will be led to spiritual salvation while the ones who refuse to save their own souls, shall be the ones who caused their own convinction. Now this is only an assumption so, I wouldn't pay that much attention to it...Just thought to try :)

YES. WE KNOW ALREADY. THE BIBLE HATES US.
You forget. Most atheists do not give two rat's @sses about what the Bible says. It is a book filled with fairy tales, inconsistencies, contradictions, bigotry, cruelty, and sexism.
