I think a cute bun would do. Up high, with some cute and simple earrings. If not that, try parting it in the front (to the side) with a low ponytail in the back. A simple style like that will fit right in.

If you don't want a bun.. go for a french plait. If your hair isn;t too long where it in a high pony tail but then there's always the risk of it coming lose and still flopping about.

pony tail or bun, depending on the dance. if it's ballet or ballroom, you should do a bun. ifit's tap, jaz, hip hop, etc, then you should do a pony tail. if you can't handle doing a bun on your own, and you don't have anyone to help you, then just do your hair in a pony tail.
