Tell your doctor, he can send you some where to help you get clean. Either a rehab center or methadone clinic. Your doing the right thing its only going to get worst if you don't get help and stop now. There are also support groups all over the country called Narcotics anonymous they can set you up with a sponsor who will be available for you to talk to 24/7.

Well willpower obviously is needed but you can't just stop cold turkey. You will either have to go through rehab with rapid detox or go to a methadone clinic where they will slowly controlled taper you down. Now since long term use can actually change your brain you might have to be on a maintenance program where they will just keep you on it. There are other meds like suboxone too that can be prescibed my a regular doctor also.

look in the mirror and then look at a pic of yourself a year ago. that should make you quit. you have to be stronger then the drug. if not, then the drug will win. try some medical help, family help, friend help, if you really want to quit, leave your drug induced friends behind and move. you CAN NOT hang with them if your not doing it anymore.. i quit meth cold turkey after 3 yrs of using everyday. i seen a pic of me before, and then looked into the mirror. that was enough good luck

the truth is this: when you use heroin, you are making a decision to use it. you could always decide not to use. however, your willpower is weak. it is easier for you to keep using than it is for you to quit.
if you wanted to quit more than you wanted to keep using, you would quit. dont forget, PEOPLE QUIT USING HEROIN EVERY SINGLE DAY. if they can quit, so can you.
however, if you dont feel capable of doing this alone, (and don't forget, that's ok) get help. rehab, counselling, whatever.
this is your one and only life. you are throwing it away. you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to get help and quit.

I'm sorry, but rehab is your best bet. Please do it before you end up in jail.
Good luck.
