Call a local church group. They are always willing to send money and food to other countries to help them. They can now start to help the people in the USA.

You are going to make those childrens Christmas wonderful. I am not sure where you live, but around here local radio stations take names and info on familys that need assistance. I would talk to the Salvation Army, call a local news station and a few radio stations to see if they have any advice. I wish you the best luck and hope Santa is very good to you and yours.

This is a terribly sad situation,, Can't even begin to imagine,,,
Call Salvation Army,, Social Services,, Toys For Tots... I knew of a family like this once, this car dealership gave family a $1000.00 check to be spent at Walmart,,, And other agencies , gave food and clothes also,,, Thank you for being a compassionate , caring person,,, Best of luck with this,, & Merry Christmas !!!

Do you have a community center you can ask for help with this? They may be willing to help contact agencies for assistance, or set up a donation system in their center.

I would start by calling your local community centers and churches, and see what advice they can offer you. You may find a lot of help with churches in your area, as most will normally sponsor a family in need, especially during the holidays.

I wish you the best of luck helping this woman and those kids have a good holiday. :)

The grandmother would need to sign up for programs likes Toys 4 Tots. You could also contact some charities and see if there is anything you could do. Catholic Charities I know helps people for stuff like this.

Karen, you are a truely caring woman, and my heart goes out to both you and the grandmother. I reccomend goin gto different agencies, salvation army, toys for tots, etc. Sign up for everything you can for these kids. They'll appreciate it, and you can definitely appreciate the smiles on their faces.

A great resource would be your local United Way. They can direct you to the appropriate agency.

Call Salvation Army they can either help you or direct you to an organization that can help. Or if you belong to a church you can see if they can help. Good Luck!
