Dog Sprays?

Question

What can I spray on hard surdaces like tiles and ceramic to discourage dog sraying. My dog marks his territory in 3 places very often and I tried spraying the deterient that we use for carpet but it doesn't work on hard surfaces. Also what is good for cleaning it up so it will smell better.

I am getting him fixed after Christamas but HOW DO I CLEAN IT UP SO IT DOESN"T SMELL!!!!

Get him fixed so he won't mark.

There is no "magic spray" to get him to quit.

Use a product like Pet Force available at http://www.frrco.com/121668 which eats the urine and removes the scent.

Punishing a dog after he has made a mistake in the house is not an effective way to teach him to not mark. If you're having this trouble I would go back to crate training and don't let him go around the house unsupervised. You need to be extra vigilant at this time as he has created a habit, and the more often he gets away with marking, the more liketly it is he will continue with this behavior in the future.
I use Simple Green and Nature's Miracle to clean up mistakes.

even if you do fix him he will still mark, my sister in laws mini dachshund is fixed and marks all the time still, its doggie nature but if your sick of it you have to correct him for being naughty, hold his muzzle and put his face near each area of where he peed being very firm in your grip, if he whines its not hurting him he is just trying to get you to let go of his muzzle because he doesnt like it well that you have to act like tuff towards him and then look him in the eyes and say Firmly NO MARK! and you have to keep doing this each time till he gets fed up with you grabbing his muzzle and gets it in his head not to mark or he can be a stubborn dog and be like Forget you and do it anyways.
