Go to AA NOW! Get help. If you don't want to indulge the religious aspect of AA, there are many treatment centers. Don't let it get away from you. If you think it is a problem, then it is.

You probably tried to quit before by yourself, right? So, this time you know you can't do it alone. Why not get yourself checked into rehab? That way....you can be in a safe place while you detox and you don't have to worry about the temptation being right there. Once you get out, you have to go to AA. You really just need to learn how to live without taking a drink. You can hear from others who have been where you are and how they handle situations without drinking.

Get yourself in AA meetings. I spent 1 1/2 year going to them and found them to be helpful. Rather then being a full blown alcoholic like I was I am now aq responcible drinker. I dont think drinking is bad just as long as yopu have it under control....get yourself a sponcer and continue to go to AA....which is more important drinking or you fiance

Maybe you could go to AA classes to try to stop your drinking problem. And you could probably ask your fiance to help you with the problem you have.

If you think you have a problem --then you have a self confirmed problem. You require professional help and there is plenty of that available. Speak to your doctor and ask for his best advice. You can overcome the problem but only with help -- Good luck

If u really want to stop ask him to help by supporting you and maybe joining you to ask for help from your GP, local addiction centre or AA but only you can do the rest, good luck sweetheart.

You might want to consider Alcoholics Anonymous, but there's little point unless you're doing it for yourself. You are unlikely to commit to it if it's for someone else.
