i am going to have a ct scan.they are checking my head and i was wondering if they always have to inject the metal into you to do it.

the papers the doctor gave said they might have to inject metal i don't remember what it said exactly as it was on the paper.

this is what it said "some patients will require an injection of a contrast material to enhance the visibility of certain tissues or blood vessels. A small needle connected to an intravenous line is placed in an arm or hand vein. The contrast material will be injected through this line."

sorry it wasn't metal. it is what ever it said up there on the other line.
