I never said all British have bad teeth, but a large percentage of them do. I've been there. They have worse teeth than most other developed countries.

It is not just the British, humans have bad teeth because of evolution.Animals have a long jaw so teeth have enough room but humans have a short jaw and the teeth are crowded. When the wisdom teeth come out it makes things worse.

America has 5% of the world's population but consumes 25% of the world's energy, think of energy as wealth and it shows that America is a wealthy nation with the ability to correct the faults of evolution.

Modern diets ruin teeth which evolution did not forsee. The oldest chimp in the world is 70 years old and still has its natural teeth because it eats a natural diet.I saw a British General with bad teeth which is not proper upkeep of military equipment. The British have large credit card debt buying goods in America on vacation that we spend on dental work,I would like to say thanks.

Actually a lot of British people have bad teeth. I believe that they have not typically cared about having perfect teeth the way Americans have within the past few years. Also they don't have flouride in their water and that makes a big difference. I lived in London for 6 months, never had a cavity in my life, got my first one after coming home from there. I also don't like stereotypes but I saw many sets of bad teeth when I was there.

Shouldn't gereralize. Not all British people have bad teeth you know. Just the same as not all American men have blow-dried hair or a cabage for a brain.

It is the tea which British people drink a lot, makes their teeth gone yellow. Also when they have a cup of tea, they usually have a cake with it, which increases the chance of bad teeth.

By the way, why do many American people have fake teeth?

They do not have dental care insurance but they do get medical insurance so most people don't take care of their teeth as they should. Dental care is expensive there too so this is not a priority to them.

What a generalisation. I'm sure there are people with bad teeth in every country, and most of them are not in Britain.

I agree than once you seem at individuals " proper the teeth" its seems out of position. I have crooked bottom the teeth, we did not have the money for braces, who for my section are for below those with themes. i imagine individuals are too passionate about perfection. at the same time as anybody is proper, what then?
