Best Buy and Circit City both suck. go to a private shop, and take some of there advice. differnt speakers use differnt forms of power. find a speaker you like, and ask the guy there what he recomends you run them with. but if you just want brands then here is a list of speakers that will sound great.

Boston Acoustics
Kenwood excelon
MB Quart
Eclipse
Diamond AUdio
Pioneer Premier

More likely, a decent pair of speakers is around $100. The speakers sold at Best Buy or Circuit City would probably be under this category of decent. Good speakers are more around $150 or $200 a pair. A *decent* sub alone will run you at least $200, depending on the size. If you care enough, don't bother buying a prefab box. Get one built for your specific subs and car. They sound twice as good and are probably twice as loud. Likewise, a *decent* amp for your subs will run probably over $200, again, depending on how much power you need. The subs at Best Buy are decent at best, most are crappy. Circuit City does have some nice woofers, but everything is cheaper online.
