All white. Get some expensive and pretty white towels. (I recently saw some with a satin trim and rhinestones at Bed Bath Beyond). Use the highest wattage bulbs you can and not soft white bulbs either. Maybe a small rug on the floor, and a nice white shower curtain should do the trick. Drape the sink with a white fabric and u can place shelves under there for storage of personal items). Place white candles throughout the bathroom wherever they will fit.

Look for an old paned window at a junk shop or wrecking yard and replace the panes with mirrors or just find a good size mirror and after hanging it, dress it as you would a window. Try a shower curtain with coral colors in it. Also, you can buy a shelf to hang on the wall at a craft store. Paint it black and use it to hold towels. A smaller shelf for over the sink painted black can hold a few nice jars that can hold q-tips, toothbrushes, soaps, etc. . . Hope this helps.

If the walls are painted with glossy paint, you can hang wallpaper 'cause it will come down real easy. Another thing you can do is get a remnant piece of carpet and cut it to fit the floor (if you're a neat person who doesn't splash around a lot, or spill). The carpet backing is ridgid enough to hold it in place and remnants are usually a whole lot cheaper than bathroom carpeting. Since it's so cheap and not permanent, you can change it out when ever you want to. To cut the carpet accurately, I make a template out of newspaper and tape, lay it on the back of the carpet, trace out the template onto the carpet with a sharpie, and cut it out with a box cutter. Voila!

My mom got,... okay... I can't spell the name of them,.. Aplicays I think,.. I can't spell.

They cling to the walls like Static Cling to Windows,... only they've been up for years and the longest the Static seems to stay up on windows is 3 months XD

There are alot of them so you can change them from time to time. We have tropical Fish that had matching Shower Curtains and other bathroom stuff,.. my mom got the curtains,.. that has held up VERY well.

have you thought about those removable decals? like fish, etc... similar to wallpaper but you can easily take them off and reposition, etc. also can change the switch plates to something jazzy... in bathrooms you can do a lot with just the carpets on the floor and shower curtains.
