The more I read some of the answers of Muslims on this site the more I become interested in your religion. I come from a family of every christian/catholic denomination under the sun, spanning thousands of years. They always argue over every last bit of scripture, or over the properties of Jesus.
Do you have any websites I can go to to learn more about the religion of Islam. I have already downloaded the Quran, so I dont need that. Just any farther teachings of Islam would be nice. Thanks.

The Holy Quran : Chapter: 3 (Al-`Imran), Verse:4
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[3:4] He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel before this, as a guidance to the people; and He has sent down the Discrimination.

The Holy Quran : Chapter: 6 (Al-An`am), Verse:126
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[6:126] So, whomsoever Allah intends to guide, He expands his bosom for the acceptance of Islam; and whomsoever He intends that he should go astray, He makes his bosom narrow and close, as though he was mounting up into the skies. Thus does Allah inflict punishment on those who do not believe

This can lead you to other sites and is a very nice site. Its nice someone actually read Muslims replies and takes them on board with an open mind. Good for you. Hope you find something interesting. I hope if nothing else you come away with a new perspective of Muslim life (not the junk that's piped into the media every day). Good luck.

There are a few wonderful Muslims on this site who can help you learn more.
I am not an expert - so I really can't help other than to say I have several friends on my 360 who can help you, if you are honestly wanting to learn what Islam is about.

if you read the bible, christians claim they are the truth.
If you read the quran, muslims claim they are the truth.
Now that you are gifted with intelligence to analyse, you learn that all religion teach that God is a JUST "being".So, if God is just, even if He had the capacity to incarnate in a human male form, why would He do that? It would definitely spread injustice. Why man, not woman? Why a white race, not a black race? Why a hebrew, not a chinese, aztec indian, egyptian, etc?Why a human, not other primates or animal?

yes sister, do everything for the sake of God alone, even when you make a cup of coffe to your parents, do it for the sake of God. even when you smile back to people, or say a nice complement to people, do it for the sake of God.
