Well, first of all, you have to be of a different race...

...kidding aside, make her see past color (race). Show her that what you are is someone worth spending time with, and worth the trouble that they've made up in their minds about dating "interracially".

good luck

Some times there is a fear of what others will think. Sometimes parents have a lot of pressure they can put on a kid. If you hang in there and be a stand up guy things can change. But there is the possibility she just wants to be your friend and that's all. The best thing for you to do right now is be her best friend, dont pressure her for a date, just be friends. She will warm up to you more and be able to make a decision on her own as to whether she wants to date or not.

Well, would it be okay to sit and hang out at her parents house?
Could you just make a house date?

This is not easy territory if "people" involved are unliberated, fearful, biased, or care what other people are going to do or say.

I think its worse with the whites that way.

If you want this girl to be happy, respect he mother and father first. Let them get to know you before you take their daughter
on a date. When you feel comfortable, tell her mom and day you want to go out as friends to othe movies. Ask permission.

If this doesn't go well, bag it, unless you are into sex fantasies
involving rebellion, passion, erotica, etc.

I'm telling you, unless this girl is strong, and can separate from parents if they disapprpove, you are in for a wild ride.

Think you both can handle this? If you can, it is worth it.

If she doesnt want to date you because of what her family thinks, then shes not what you want. If she wants to be with you, then she will be with you. She shouldnt let her parent's opinion effect her happiness. If she doesnt know that now, then shes not ready for the relationship, because there will be alot of other people who will have a problem with your relationship. Trust me. Ive seen this situation plenty of times.

It's simple. Ask her. If you can get someone to see past color then you are all set. Let your actions speak for you as a person not your color.

Why bother? You are looking for alot of problems and unpleasantness. Find someone more open minded.

If she is not willing to date you for the person you are then leave it alone, Its not worth all the crap that will follow.
