She is about 9 weeks old and i cannot even walk through the house without her attacking my feet and ankles. she is sooo bad. she will not stay off the coffee and end tables. she knocks everything off to watch it fall! i cannot pet her she kicks and scratches and bites. she is not an angry or vicious kitty and she is not nervous or scared-she is just playing, but that wild look in her eye never goes away unless she is sleeping. she even tries to climb walls and doors. she is out of control! what should i do? i have tried the spray bottle of water, but she does not care. she will be soaked from head to toe and still be on the table.

wear tall uggs. play with her with toys to distract her from biting you. she is teething from now until she is 6 months--wear gloves!! try loud noises--like turning up he stereo FULL VOLUME when she gets to something you do not want stepped on--use a flyswatter to hit the sofa or whatever she is scratching on--make or get her a scratchinfg area. make a plaace all her own--show it to her and talk to her as you make the place JUST FOR HER--and then, since she is a water-loving kitty, just watch her grow and play with her--as she gets older, she will settle down.

also--make her know you are her mother--grab her by the scruff of her neck, as would her mom, get your face down to her top of her head, and pretend you are grooming her --i use my chin as i breathe out, cat thinks you are washing its head for it--and you are its mom. then kitty will do what you train kitty to do. be consistent and patient. repeat. repeat repeat. if kitty scratches on something you see--pick kitty up asnd relocate to the place designated for such activity--keep reminding kitty you are watching and kitty knows where to scratch--it takes time and patience. your kitty sounds like one i had long time ago.
learn how cats communicate and talk to her in kitty body language--it works!!

The easiest way to deal with her would be to get her a companion kitten. Cats run off a lot of energy playing together and play far rougher with each other than a human could stand to play. The behaviors you list are common for kittens, although I've found that oriental breeds such as Siamese are those most likely to climb walls, curtains and doors. I use canned air instead of spraying water for discipline, it gets the message across to the cats just as well but without the mess. Cats also hate to walk on aluminum foil and some behaviorists recommend putting aluminum foil onto things you want the cat to stay off of. Kittens can be clumsy and knock things, especially if they are trying to get off of something before you catch them where they know they aren't supposed to be.

Although its not good to encourage the kitten to play roughly, scratching and kicking and biting, if you do want to play roughly with the kitten, put thick gloves on first or play with the kitten through a heavy blanket so that she is inflicting the bites and scratches on the blanket instead of your bare flesh.

Give her toys to play with too, my cats have much fun with their little toy balls and catnip mice and just like kids, will take toys out of the toybox and strew them all over the place right after I've picked them all up! Again, two cats or two kittens or more are easier to live with than just one, because they will play together with toys too.

I actually have a Boxer! properly, about your kitten, I advise that you get one among those sticks with a feather or toy on the top and function your kitten play with that. I truly have had many cats, and yet another toy/distraciton for them is a donut formed ring, and a ball rolls interior it. They spend hours chasing it, and they have exciting. they actually have distant managed mice. attempt giving your kitten somewhat of milk and tender foodstuff which many times receives them somewhat sleepy. i'm hoping my answer helped!
