After God created Adam and Eve, according to my Bible, he told them to be fruitful and replenish the earth, make lots of babies. What was here before Adam and Eve?

Okay, I asked this wrong. If they are replenishing the earth, they are replenishing it with humans. Replenish is to replace what was lost. Did God screw up once before? We know he had to wipe out the earth and start again with Noah. And how did the world get so populated? I know God didn't tell them to commit incest.

First off God did not screw up, Adam and Eve did, it's called disobedience. If you will read the first few verses of the Bible it will tell you what was before Adam and Eve, Genesis 1: 2 says" Now then the earth was formless and empty...."The incest thing can be covered by the "Life in the Spirit" Bible footnotes. It says that Adam and Eve went on to have more sons and daughters and that Cain would have had to marry one of his sisters. Such a relationship was necessary in the beginning. Later on it stopped because of biological weaknesses in the children. So at the time it was not frowned upon by God.

As everyone else said...animals and stuff...And yes Beauty the Bible does talk of Dinosaurs- see the Leviathan found in Job and in Psalms...as far as "replenish the earth" goes the correct quotation is "Be fruitful and increase in number" found in Gen 1:22 and 1:28 so I don't know what Bible you are using. Funny how a person uses the Bible when you say Bible quiz ain't it?

You guess. The strategies I definitely have seen (and gained) in this board prepare that. Too a lot of people who declare familiarity with the Bible understand truthfully now no longer some thing between Genesis and Revelation. I definitely have spent extra effectual than 40 years in the learn of comparative religions and their scriptures, and characteristic accumulated a super library of non secular and scriptural historic previous. Too many Christian understand the bible only at 2d hand...what they pay attention from their pastors or their father and mom. very few can carry their very own in a communicate with fairly bible pupils. edit: youthful smart pest: till you're purely a troll attempting to be beautiful, how are you able to anticipate us to have confidence you as quickly as you are able to now no longer even spell what you fake to understand??? The be conscious is Torah, now no longer "Tora"...till you take place to be the reincarnation of a international conflict II eastern suicide pilot!!

Lots of animals. Plants. Rivers, oceans, mountains and deserts.

The Bible also mentions something about Giants living inside the Earth.

If you look in a 1611 dictionary(the time the bible was translated to english) you will see that the word replenish can mean to fill, as in for the first time. They were the first to fill(replenish) the earth.

Words in the english language change meanings all the time, like the words cool or gay. Both changed meanings since I was a little boy.

God Bless

Nothing, before creation. But man was the last thing created. Adam on day 6, Eve is debatable. She may not have been made for years-we do not know.

In chapter 1 plants were first, before man.
In chapter 2 man was first, then plants.

I think ppl should stop making lots of babies, we have enough now thanks, lol.

In the bible I'm reading doesn't say replenish, but that doesn't mean it's not in a different version.
& I think your comment about god screwing it up once before is hilarious.

It had to be incest, no one was alive but noah's family. ---But, what did those silly sheep herders (who wrote those books), know about genetics, anyway ? Can anyone say retard vill. ?
