I am responsible for my own sins, Jesus died as the final blood sacrifice to atone for our sins. We still must bring our sins to the alter, we still must bring our actions to the alter. It is our responsibility to acknowlege our sins and change our behavior.
Blessings

According to the Christian religion, the plan is that:
(1) First 'God' decided what sin is, some of which makes sense (killing, stealing) and some of which doesn't (masturbation, being gay). 'He' demanded strict adherence to 'his' laws, and also demanded to be worshiped and adored continuously just because 'he' is what 'he' is.
(2) Then 'God' created a place of eternal fire and endless suffering into which he could toss every soul who displeased 'him'. And instead of zapping the so-called "Satan" from the get-go, 'God' decided to let him hang around and make humans miserable and maybe even entice them to hell. You know, that would be like a mother knowing that there's a child molester in the neighborhood and turning her back while her children play in his yard.
(3) 'God' decided to send a messenger, 'his' son, knowing in advance that Jesus would be rejected by 'his' chosen people and would be killed by them (all of this is according to Christian belief). Although 'God' knew this would happen and apparently wanted it to happen, that didn't stop 'him' from getting in a snit about it, changing the rules, and deciding never to openly communicate with mankind again.
(4) 'God' next decided that everyone would have to believe that Jesus was 'his' son and died and came back from the dead -- nothing else in the human life experience would have any importance whatsoever.
(5) All that earlier business about being good and not sinning was drastically modified by 'God' -- 'he' changed ''his' mind; you could be mean and hurt people and do all kinds of terrible things and still win 'his' favor. All anyone had to do was simply believe in Jesus and that person, no matter how many lives he had destroyed, would be saved from hell and frolic happily hereafter in heaven.
(6) And now, after Jesus had come to be killed by the same people 'God' had chosen as 'his' own (all according to Christianity) morality no longer had any real importance -- since believing in Jesus is all there is -- all that's necessary to be saved. That means that no matter how good, decent, charitable, loving and moral you are, no matter how many lives you touched in positive ways, 'God' wants you to be in agony for all eternity, if you don't believe Jesus was 'his' son.
This is how Christians see 'God' and the purpose of life.

God made the world with all of us in it then gave us Jesus to save us from all our sins. He is the only true god that can live a perfect life he knows that so he gives US that gift.
You just have faith that there is a purpose or reason for everybody.

Jesus is not responsible for sin. He paid the price though. He died as a substitute for everyone. Our sins were poured unto him and Judged so that we may have eternal life. My purpose is to glorify God and be blessed by him in time and eternity. HE loves us all. All of us. All of us. All of us!!!!!!!No matter what you do. No matter what religion. He has a gift. God became man. I think that is really powerful. God became man. The rapture will happen. Jesus Christ will be back. I am ready. Are YOU?

First of all Jesus is not responsible for your sins, you are! You must have heard about the notion of FREE WILL, you choose between good and bad. You choose what kinda life you wanna lead. Jesus died for our sins so that we are able to expiate and improve. That was agreat act of LOVE on His part. You need to understand that it was the human being that sinned cos he/she had the possiblity to do that. It was their conscioous decision , I am talking about Adam and Eve. We exsist to save ourselves from Hell and to enter Heaven after death. To go one way or another, we live our lives accordingly and you are responsible for that every day.

1) Jesus is not responsible for my sins - I am - He stepped in and took my punishment for me.
2) I exist because God created me to have a relationship with Him. Because I am sinful, I was unable to have that relationship. God loves me so much, He did not leave it that way. That's why Jesus took my sins upon Himself, so that I could be cleansed of them and be able to be in God's presence.
3) I am not happy that Jesus suffered in my place and it saddens me when I do things that hurt God. I am fully aware that every time I sin, it is me placing Jesus on that cross. But when I ask His forgiveness, He is faithful to forgive me, restoring my fellowship with Him. He is the center of true happiness.

Two things:
Ecclesiastes 9:9
Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your fleeting life which He has given to you under the sun; for this is your reward in life, and in your toil in which you have labored under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. 14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Exactly! That's what makes Christianity a religion of peace...of mind. No self-responsibility whatsoever! Life is one big test -- heaven or hell? Perhaps we should live Life itself and do everything we can to make this world we live in a better place for all humanity and let the afterlife (if there is one) take care of itself.

Is this some kind of freakish conversion-by-guilt thing?
You believe what you believe. I believe what I believe.
What's so hard to understand about that? Until you personally see a burning bush and hear the actual voice of God telling you the immutable truth of the universe, you know exactly the same as everyone else about the nature of existence, which is precisely SQUAT.

You are the first Christian I have ever heard say that Jesus is responsible for people's sins. It is a new type of Christianity? People are responsible for their own sins---no matter what religion they are.

I am responsible for my own sins. In other words I make the choice to either sin or not. Same for everyone as well. Jesus willingly went to the cross to pay sins debt. You can either except that or reject that.
