I used Orlistat and lost 10KG in 4 weeks, there is a fairly major side effect if you do not stick to a strict diet (less than 6% fat) with them but apart from that I had no problems, you just have to be planned and structured with your diet and forget about eating out or grabbing a sandwich while you are out for lunch etc.. There is so much choice out now that falls into that category, just dont be surprised when you look at foods which claim to be healthy to find that they are still 15-20% fat!! Feel free to e-mail me if you want a list of alternatives or brand name foods that I found that was ok to eat...

Orlistat can have nasty consequences if you don't follow a low fat diet well enough. You can get stomach cramps, greasy stools, very bad and smelly wind (sometimes with greasy discharge) etc. The only weight I lost was the amount you have to lose before you can start taking them.
My current "diet" consists of eating fairly sensibly and regularly, always eating a breakfast and regular exercise (walking, swimming and gentle cardio-vascular exercising) This is working a treat at the moment, have lost 21kg in 3 months.

Scary side effect!!!
It works basically by combining with fat molecules to make the molecule too big to pass thru the gut wall, therefore any grease taken in is excreted.
This leads to bright orange greasy $hits!!!!
It also leaves an oilslick on the water, even after flushing, so requires washing up liquid & a kettle of hot water to clean the bog.
Definately not nice!!
Also, it makes it difficult to hold in a fart, resulting in following thru with an orange greay stain all over the back of your Chinos!!

Xenical is an oral- prescription diet pill that can ensure people to loose weight and keep off from their extra body mass. Xenical diet pill works in our digestive system by jamming one third of the fat in the food we consume from being digested. In general, doctor prescribes three doses a day to get the desired result. A blend of controlled diet, workout and Xenical medication is a sure sort-way to attain fruitful weight loss. In accordance to the clinical trials about 30% of our fat is burnt each time we intake Xenical.
A multivitamin supplement is usually recommended daily before or after taking the pill when on Xenical treatment. This happens because Xenical diet drug interferes with our body's absorption of certain fat-soluble multivitamins.
You may witness some side effects such as changes in bowel routine during the first week of its usage. These changes may also consist of gas with oily discharge, increase in the number of bowel movements. The reason being that Xenical obstructs the assimilation of dietary fat. It is always recommended to consult your doctor before you embark upon.

Um, it sounds kinda nasty. I'd rather do cardio than take this pill:
oily, spotting BMs
gas with discharge
urgent need to have a BM
oily or fatty stools
an oily discharge
increased number of BMs
inability to control BMs
orange or brown color of a BM
stomach pain
irregular menstrual periods
