Yes this very normal. Some children develop faster that others. My baby girl didn't start walking until she was 16 months. But when they finally do start they won't walk they will run.

Each child is different and there is no real "normal" age a child should be walking alone by. My youngest daughter was born when her older siblings were 18, 15, and 12. She did not crawl until she was 1 year old and did not walk until she was 15 months old. She really didn't need to as someone was always carrying her around. As long as your brother is walking with holding on, he is doing fine. Sometime before he is 18 months old, I am sure he will take his first steps unassisted.

I think its normal, since he can hold and walk he might walk without any supports within a month or 2.

Yes, it's normal. Does he have some thing to hold onto, like a table or a couch that he can walk beside? Sounds like he's close, but needs confidence. If he has two 'bases' just a couple of steps apart, that can be helpful also.

Don't worry as long as he can hold & walk so he is on his way,you may start to worry if he reachs 18 months without walking, you may help him by giving him foods contains calcium like milk fish...etc & try to expose him to the sun everyday at least 20 minuts

I would say so. Just give him some time. But i think after like 20 months, if he is still not walking, go an see someone.

He only is probably no longer waiting yet. My daughter did no longer walk until 20 months, yet six weeks later she walked the two techniques around the Tower Bridge in London! She does no longer get returned in that stroller for something! i think of she only wanted to be sure previously she could walk by using herself. She did no longer circulate in the time of the falling-down point, the two.

Try a balloon!! It sounds weird, but that's how we got our son to walk when he was 13 mths old.. He was doing the same thing as your brother, but we just had to help him along.. Have your parents sit across from each other and let him walk after the balloon.. My husband and I did it once and that same night he was walking.. He just needs a little help!! Good luck to you
