Disease is something tangible within the body, you can see it under a mircroscope or xray. Sometimes a diseased member of the body is removed to save the person's life.
A disorder is something to do with mental processes. They cannot see the disorder and the can't cut it out of the person to make it better.
Sometimes drugs can help but not always.

A disease process has the characteristic of something that will continue to get worse, to progress, to cause degeneration of the affected area. Disorders and syndromes tend to be heredary, and can cause chronic symptoms, but will not continue to get worse in and of themselves, though it can seem that way sometimes as they can interfere with your daily quality of life to the point of disability. Diseases, syndromes and disorders can be hereditary, and some syndromes and disorders are both hereditary and having to do with brain issues, like the neurotransmitter problems of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
Heart disease or Rheumatoid Arthritis are common diseases. ADD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder can also be hereditary but it is not going to continue to get worse and it can't be cured.
