I learned you don't give your enemy a gun and teach him how to shoot it. Other than that, a pretty good year.

I was married for 16 yrs, then for the last 4 years I focused on my kids, so I didn't date over that time. This last year I reentered the dating pool...not knowing what to expect. But I learned that I still have some in-demand qualities. And, ironically, experiencing that... I learned that I'm really very Ok being on my own too. I no longer feel a need to be affirmed in a relationship... though I am in one at the moment. But if it went south tomorrow, I'd be just fine.

I've driven an automatic all my life, and this year I learned to drive a 5 speed. Took a while to get used to, but I'm pretty adept now.

And intellectually, I'm always learning. Whoever created the internet must have had me in mind. I've studied ancient history, diverse theological beliefs, physics, other cultures, etc. This year I've focused a lot on quantum mechanics and discoveries around consciousness in quanta.

I figure, "use it lose it". No one ever 'arrives'. We should all be learning for as long as we live. We go around one time, and it would be a shame to waste the trip.

incredibly some extraordinarily frightening issues have occurred in history. that's impossible to tutor history of any type, no count number if this is the Holocaust, the horrors of the trenches in WW1, the slave commerce or the Black demise, without exposing toddlers to frightening and frightening techniques and realities. hence, no, i does no longer anticipate a discern to be reported ahead until now getting to understand with regard to the Holocaust, from now on than i might for the different history project. And what sturdy might notifying the mum and dad easily do? the youngster has to learn approximately those issues. The discern understanding ahead can no longer surrender the youngster from having nightmares. All that notifying the mum and dad might do might make mum and dad withdraw their toddlers from those instructions, which may be completely irrelevant. while i became into approximately your cousin's age I did a project in school on the 1600s. This entailed getting to understand with regard to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 (grotesque torture and execution) and the large Plague (finished with gory re-enactments in a television documentary and eye-witness bills of the bodies being thrown into plague pits). I bear in mind being quickly terrified by this, and suffering to sleep for a night or 2. yet wager what? I have been given over it. the only way it is stayed with me is constructive - ie, it made me very lots attentive to how fortunate we are immediately and how we could avert such issues habitual.

I discovered a new level of spirituality that I never dreamed existed. This was due to experiencing one of the most traumatic events of my life in 2005. This last year I was reborn from the ashes. Life is good.

Year 2006 - a year that I learnt that there is no situation that God cannot change for better. This year, God has been faithful to my family and I, I changed my job and I got a landed property of my own.

I learned that you cant judge a book by the cover-

People are lovely on the outside, but rotten to the core.

I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I get hurt very easy- but what I have gotten out of this particular experience, will be with me forever.
