one guy tried to swallow a bag of marijuana while being chased by the police recently and he died from suffocation. and now his family is sueing the police department

The police had nothing to do with his death, they are just money hungry, and upset, and don't care or realize that their child was a druggie and was not an innocent person and lol they aren't going to win unless they actually shoved it down his throat.

just because he swolled the weed that donen't mean he can beat the charge aginst him. man crack dealers and weed dealers try that and they almost always end up at the er to get ther belly pumped. as for the kid who died his family has no right to be sueing the police department just because he took a wrong trun in life and messed up. I should know i work for the state police in california

Let's get this straight, there is a BIG difference betwen Marijuana and Crack!
As for eating bags of anything, if you choke on a plastic bag, who's fault is that?
Nobody ever died from eating Marijuana, but eating a bunch of Crack Cocaine could very well be fatal even if you don't get arrested. But if a cop sees someone eating suspected evidence they can have your stomach pumped.

The police could just 'hold' you in custody for a couple of days of questioning until the evidence 'comes out'.

one time the man, made me eat exlax and then got the crack out the toilet and charged me with it, i beat the charge because all they found was peanuts

not if they do a piss test. even if its in a bag if u start to digest it the drug will get in ur system. thats with any drug.

if the cop dont see you swallow it. make sure its in a balloon. cops if they see you will stick a pen or somthing down your throat and make you puke it back up and then charge you
