God didn't manage to come into existence, he is the definition of existence.

God didn't come into existence. It has existed as long as there has been an unanswered question. It will exist until all of the questions h ave been answered. Once all the questions get answered we will realize that it never existed in the first place.

That would have to depend on one's perception of God. If he had to come into existence, that might imply there was a time he didn't exist, not making him God (trusting one's vision of God is that he's eternal or the creator). If he didn't come into existence, that might imply he either never was, or he can't be understood the normal ways we understand things. That's where faith, or a lack of it, comes in, and hopefully another question!

Good question!

God by definition did not come into existance. He is the first cause, eternal. He is the alpha and the omega, the Bible says, the beginning and end...

If God was at some point created, than whatever created him would, by definition, be God.

God has always been there, we read in Genesis:

In the beginning (time) God created the heavens and the earth (space and matter)

I believe early humans created the concept of 'gods' and that concept has been altered time and time again throughout history, and it will continue to do so for as long as humans live on this earth.

I highly recommend Feuerbach's Essence of Religion. Once you get past the Grumpy Dead German Guy bits, there are some very interesting ideas on this very thing, which are thus far the best ones I've seen.

According to the Bible, he came down from the heavens. But, then he created heaven, hell and earth, not in that particular order. Gotta love the clarity of the Bible.
