It is has the glory of God and a light like a Jasper stone. It has a great and high wall with twelve gates and at the gates 12 angels with names written thereon which are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. The Wall has twelve foundations with the names of the twelve apostles. The wall is 18 inches thick. The city lies foursquare and measures 12,000 furlongs (607 feet), the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. The building of the wall is of Jasper and the city is pure gold like clear glass. The foundations are garnished with the following precious stones: Jasper, Sapphire, Chalcedony, Emerald, Sardonyx, Sardius, Chrysolite, Beryl, Topaz, Chrysoprasus, Jacinth and Amethyst. The twelve gates are pearls, the street is pure gold, there is no temple there as God and Jesus are the temple of it, there is no sun, moon or ocean, and there shall be no night there.
