He has recently moved home, but hasnt got cat flu as he is vaccinated about it. Is there many items in the house that he could be allergic to?

It could still be cat flu - my older cat is vaccinated against it and still managed to get it when she was small.

Otherwise it could be a virus or allergy. Best to take it to the vets to check as kitties can get secondary infections like pneumonia from sniffles.

Hope he gets better soon!

It very well could be an allergy but it could be something as bad as an infection, be safer than sorry because if he's not long had it i'd say it was an infection since allergies can last a lifetime or they're born with it so you'd of known sooner if it was an allergy maybe. I'd take the cat to see a vet.

Cats are like humans and they can be allergic to certain things in your house. You would have to check with the vet to make sure but it's probably something in the house that is making it sneeze so much.

Yes, it's possible that it's allergies - just like people could be anything, including mold or dust. Also, even if vaccinated for flu, cats get colds sometimes - just like people. They can last a week or two.

If it doesn't clear up after a week or two, consult your vet.

It may not be a cold or an allergy.
Is the cats nose runny?
Do his eyes like red and runny?
If so that could very easily be an Upper Respiratory Infection and needs to be treated with antibiotics.

If the cat gets worse or you see any of the other signs I mentioned please take him to a Vet, Upper Respiratory Infections can be easily treated but can become serious if left unattended

Perhaps the cat has a virus, maybe because it was stressed from the move immune system was low
If it doesnt improve I would take the cat to the vet
Good luck x

My little snow leopard has the same trouble, the vet said he had a slight upper respiratory infection and gave me some "kitty-biotics" and it cleared up in a few days. Though it could be an allergy, it may just be dust in the air. Have your vet check your fuzz out, and enjoy your little buzzer!

Maybe not an allergy, but a small particle (like a grass seed) that he's inhaled and which is now stuck in his nasal passages somewhere. Could even be a nasal polyp... so it might be advisable to get a vet to give him an examination. Good luck to him, anyway!

many times dust will make a cat sneeze. i had a sneezy cat that was ok--keep an eye on him--next vet visit, ask vet. if he sneezes more and more, call vet--test cat to see what is the allergy.
