Is there a special box I can get? Will the quality of the picture be affected.
(Note - Some of the connections will go into a PC TV Card)

The signal power from the aerial has to be divided 9 times. This means each user will only have a ninth of the original signal power, even less if you allow for the losses in the splitter unit. This is quite a large loss. You need to have a decent amplifier (to allow for the splitter losses) and a proper splitter to divide the signal properly to output to each TV. You should be able to get them as a pair or as a combined unit.

Look for a company like Antiference, they make these TV Distribution units. The amplifier needs to be as close to the aerial as practicable. If the amplifier is a good one, (with enough gain and a low Noise Figure, i.e. good noise performance), your picture should be as good as before.

The TV card will have the same signal requirements as a normal TV.

You need a powered splitter to amplify the incoming signal in order to drive those 9 TV receivers. That's simply a matter a sheer physics: there's only so much signal coming down that cable and, by the time you split it and get it to its destinations, that signal will be pretty weak.
