I'm afraid my opinion of Islam isn't good, at all, Sir.

And your quotation from the Koran hasn't helped improve it any better; I'm sorry to say, Sir.

The "strong handle" is perhaps a typo, Sir; because it really makes no sense to a Native English Speaker, like myself. Besides the whole "quotation" is rather confusingly worded, Sir.

Now, since you ask, Sir, may I enlighten you on why I have the low opinion of Islam?

First of all, Sir, the life of Mohammad is not exactly an inspiring one.

He took 12 wives, at least a couple of whom were more than 20 years senior to him when he was in his 20's, and they just happened to be rich old women, and then took a 9 year old child for a wife, when he was "Prophet" and in his 50's.

The words gigolo and pedophile come to mind, Sir.

The History of Violence, Intolerance and being somewhat deranged behavior of it's members are other factors that cause me to be repulsed by it, Sir.

There are many more reasons, but I think these suffice, Sir.

This is true but by just quoting the Quran you can not convince and impress the non-Muslims.

You have to explain and elaborate upon the philosophy behind the surah. This is your duty to explain about your objective for asking such a question.

And if you fail to do it, your objective will fail too. This is my little advise.

The Quran as you know, was revealed to prophet Muhammad, at different point of times and on different contexts. And the Muslim bashers are used to quote these contradictory Surahs.

It is like they quote [misquote] a para from a legal procedure code of a country, "..............................person will be hanged till he dies." Thus criticising the legal procedure code itself.
What they do, just conceal the objective of this guideline i.e. " Whenever a person is found guilty of commiting a crime of killing another person by design, the culprit will be liable to punished and the person will be hanged till he dies." [ This is just an example ]
This is what is happening with Quran. It is being misquoted and that too, out of context.

well my freind look at the name of islam of it;s self...the religion of of peace...well si alm is the greatest religion ever like Allah had said in the quran,the only one religion that god approve accept Islam,for an example,islam teache is to respect other race and religion, for an example, in the agrrement of medina,there is stated that the people there can still practice their religion no matter jew or chiristian,and in another hadith of our beloved prophet it had been said once the prophet was talking to his freind, when he saw a dead jew body was carried pass him he stand up as a respect and in other storie it had been told that when abu bakar on of the prophet's muhammad freind asked her daughter,siti aishah about waht the prophet did when he is still alive her daughter replied that he had do everything except for one thing that is the prophet will bring a food to an old blind jew near the market every mornig.so the next day abu bakar decided to got o the place that is mentioned,then when abu bakar stated to feed him he said you are not the man that usually feeds me,because the man who feeds me always feed me gentlely,now tell me who are you?then abu bakar replied the mad that always feed you is muhammad,shocked by what abu bakar said, the jew convert into islam!another thing is the west were so sceptic that they said the batteries that were found in baghdad,they said it is from the aliens,but thet did not know that muslims those days had alredy discover the battery, this case is the same when peri reis and cheng ho and not to be forgotten ibn batista.peri reis discovered america first but they said it was columbus...so the conclusion is ISLAM IS THE HOLIEST,THE GREATEST AND THE MOST MODERN RELIGION INTHE WORLD!

God is all-hearing and all-knowing, this is true. But I find it hard to believe that Islam follows the only true God. You follow a false prophet. You allow a belief that it is ok to kill people who do not believe as you do. There is nothing loving about that. My Father is Love. My Father determines who lives. The only way to Our Father is through His son Jesus Christ. You don't believe that so nothing else you say is correct. You follow a false prophet who has lied, killed, raped and stolen. Muhammed didn't follow any of the Ten Commandments so how can anything that he believes be The Truth?

I feel sorry for Muslims. I have read the Koran, and I know what they teach. I find it sad that so many of them, especially those who grew up being brainwashed, are so diluted. And I don't see how anyone can claim Islam to be peaceful. Read the Koran yourself, before you make ANY judgments, one way or the other.

I respect Islam and true Muslims. Islam is logical, practical and true. Those who talk badly about it are most likely influenced by the media and its portrayal as all Muslims as radicals. How sad.
