(for future referance, a great, free translator that does most languages is the Altavista babelfish, just go to http://www.altavista.com/ or visit http://babelfish.altavista.com/ for the exact page.) what was that all about in spanish:
cuál era que todo alrededor
btw, if you ever see an 'n' with a curly line above it in spanish, it is pronounced as an english 'y'. just thought you may need to know if you are gonna be reading spanish. xx

" A que venÃa todo eso?" ( Argentina and Uruguay) OR
"Eso con que tenÃa que ver?" OR " De que se trataba todo eso?" ( General, in all of South America & Spain)
This has a lot to do with the region and speaker. (Level of education, formality, etc) If you are more specific I could help more.

I would say "Qué fue eso?" or "Qué le pasa?" (speaking of a person).
Edit:
Romavich, hi!
To me, "qué fue eso" is more a literal translation. In the practice, at least in Costa Rica, if somebody said something out of place (for example), people would go: "qué le pasa?". But I guess different countries have different expressions.

you can say, "a que ha venido eso?", or "y eso a santo de que?", or you could simply say "y eso?" if it was understood by the context
