the older your hair gets, it slows down melanin production, which is what gives it colour. stress can also promote the loss of melanin, as it shrinks the vessels leading into the hair folicles.

Because the body stops producing melanin for your hair, which is the pigment that gives its colour.
Your hair is a fibrous scleroprotein called keratin, and its natural colour is white. (your nails are keratin as well, but there is no melanin in there, that's why they tend to be whitish)

Mine was grey at 25, white at 30. I think the earler it happens, the more virile the person

Hi,has we get older we stop producing melalin hence we go grey.

according to my mother, it's because of her children. but i actually think it has something to do with the hair losing pigment or something.
