Where do I start?
I'm 33, so I match your criteria.
Yes I LOOOOVE shoping at IKEA.
Reasons too long to enumerate, but let me try a few:
Everything you see at the store is for sale, down to the coasters on the displays.
It's actually fun to walk the showroom floor and see how much crap you can fit into a shoebox-sized one-bedroom apt.
Furniture is well-designed
Easy to assemble
Available in a variety of finishes
Drawer and door pulls can be customized
Doors can be glass or wood, or no doors at all.
Accessories are oh-so-cool!
It's never a queston of form over function, it's a good blend of both, with an eye toward environmental conservancy.
Staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and there are PLENTY OF THEM AROUND to answer questions.
Return policies are flexible and convenient.
What keeps me going back? ALL OF THE ABOVE and probably many more I can't think of right now.
I never thoughtshopping for furniture was fun until my wife and I discovered IKEA.
What could be better? the parking is always a hassle.

Yes. I actually honestly quite like the shopping experience. (Except at Ikea Ashton with all those blooming lifts that never seem to come) and I like the no-frills inexpensive stuff.
The other reason I have bought is because it is international. I now live in the UK but I bought my Leksvik chest from Ikea in Canada and my Leksvik bookcase that stands next to it from a "Fundgrube" (bargain corner) in an Ikea in Germany. When you are moving around the familiar yellow and blue is somehow reassuring. It says "Yes so you are refurnishing for the third time in three years but why don't you buy that table which you liked so much but had to sell because it was too expensive to ship?"
Oh and finally - Gloegg. In the winter I always make sure I buy a bottle or six!

I'm 25 and am an interior architect...i shop at ikea..not exclusively but for a lot of things (i have bought an entertainment unit, small coffee tables, storage boxes, plant pots, cups and saucers, picture frames, gift wraping, rug, dining room furniture)...the raeson why I buy from ikea is because there are not many contemporary furniture/home stores at all heer in san diego and especially ones that are reasonably priced.
The thing that keeps me going back is the simple/contemporary designs combined with the prices...I'm still young and havent got a place of my own so dont want to invest in high end furniture yet that may not go well with my future home but i dont want to just get junk for my place right now either...so i go to ikea

I'm not in your age group, and I would never buy anything from Ikea in the way of furniture or cabinets. Our experience with Ikea is that the stuff looks nice in the store but can be a pain in the patootie to assemble, and it just does not stand up well to use. If you intend to discard it in a couple of years, fine, but it really doesn't wear well. And unless you're very skilled at assembling it from scratch, it will probably not look as nice in your home as the floor models did in the store.

I feel sorry for you. I often take a van to Ikea (I get paid as I pick up kitchens to fit for customers). Look in bargain Corner, ready made stuff reduced as slightly damage. Most Ikea stuff is cheaply made and will not last long. Kitchens are ok. Good value. Get there early, so you can be in and out within an hour. Then you can take your old stuff to the dump too.

I am 21 and recently furnished my new flat with Ikea products. I like it 'cos you can check stuff out online, they have a great catalogue which gives you ideas for room decoration as well as furnishings. Plus it's much cheaper than going to somewhere like MFI where the quality and design are comparatively much worse. Also, you can get everything you need for your place from one shop - including all the soft furnishings which look great. They are also quite individual - and certainly the only place where I was able to buy a circular bed! They update their ranges every season, not only bringing in new products, but adding to their existing ranges. I like it!

My girlfriend loves Ikea!
Our entire house was kitted out with the stuff when we first set up home together a few years ago cos everythings cheap and cheerful.
She says that it's perfect for a good shopping spree.
(personally i don't quite get it, but then i'm a bloke and i'm not sure we're supposed to understand a girls fascination with shopping!)

I do like to shop at IKEA because everything is reasonably priced and modern.
I go back because I like the items they sell, I often buy my curtains there and have also bought bedroom furniture.
The only thing I don't like is the way it is set out, u have to walk around every department to get to where u want to be although I know wy they do it...gud luck with ur course....x

I love ikea, 32 year old mom, I think they have such cool things, up to date style but with that homey, cozy feeling. My 2 teen kids love to invite there friends over, they think we have the "coolest" house in the neighborhood. Also, the prices are great!
Hope this helped you out! Good luck on your campaign!
