It can be hard and discouraging to have to do it alone, can't it?

You have to figure out just how important the diploma is to you. If it's that important, you'll do what you need to do to get it, even if you don't like the program at all. There should be somebody with the program you are enrolled in who can help you with the work. Try to contact the school and see.

I recommend also checking out the book "What Smart Students Know" by Adam Robinson. It may help you work on the motivation and work towards getting that diploma done. Part of what he does is help see that it's not about liking the work or not, it's about playing the game and adopting an attitude that is conducive to getting it done, regardless of what 'it' is.

If you really want your diploma so bad, you will get it! One way to help yourself would be to set a specific time each day for study, and STICK TO IT!!! Try not to get distracted, and let your friends know that you will not be available during this time. You might also check with some of your local high schools to see if they have any programs that can help you attain this goal. Motivation has to come from within, so, keep this goal in front of you, and think ahead to the rewards!!!
Best of luck to you!

I would go for your GED. Look into your local community college and see if they have a course or get a study book for GED.
I was curious about your personally reasons so I looked at your other questions. I would suggest going to a local Bible Church and join a ladies support group. And then see your doctor, there may be a medical problem. Also get a Bible and start reading the New Testament for encouragement.

Yeah, I can tell you what to do.

Take a break and get bored. Then you'll be motivated to pursue your education again.

Worked for me; I abandoned academics for almost a month and now I'm champing at the bit to get my paws on some physics again.

Why not try looking into night classes for your GED?
