Of course! If he goes psycho on you after just a week, can you imagine if you hang around with him longer? This is a guy with obviously very set ideals of what a girlfriend should be like, what she should say, when she should say it. He probably won't be content till your whole life revolves around him and you worship him as a god. I won't be surprised if he gets physically abusive somewhere along the line. He doesn't even seem to care what you think or how you feel!
Drop him faster than a hot anvil.

you don't even need to ask. leave him leave now. i was in a similar situation not too long ago. I met a guy through a friend, this guy pursued me for a while before i said yes. A couple of weeks later he told me he loved him and he kept on pressuring me to say it back. I told him it was to soon. Anyways months went by and slowly i gave my heart away. He too was very possessive and very jealous- he did tell me that he was a very jealous man but i didn't take me seriously i thought it was flattering. He would accuse me of cheating if i didn't answer his calls or when i went out with friends esp. if my friends were boys. He would called me all the time- it was like every 10 mins or so. Anyways to cut a long story short it turned out he was just using me to get stay in the UK. He was also cheating me. Don't put yourself through all this heartache- you have a chance to get out early.

Get outta there. Go with your gut because this guy is only going to get worse...and make excuses for why. Be safe and don't see him any more! Good Luck!
