most 2 year olds wear diapers, a lot of 3 year olds wear diapers, some 4 year olds wear diapers, a handful of 5 year olds wear diapers, even a very very few 6 year olds wear diapers (pull-ups)...most pediatricians say potty training should take place between 3 and 5, and their is a web site that says on average potty training takes place between 18 months and 5 years. kids shouldn't be potty trained until they're ready so there is no reason why a 2 year old should have to wear pull-ups...hope that helps

Many 2-year-olds wear diapers. It depends on what the parents are doing. In 1950, 92% of 18-month-olds were fully potty trained. My daughter, who is 2 1/2, has been out of diapers since 14 months. But a lot of parents these days don't do it that early. You just have to ask the parents of the child.

Pull-ups don't work because they feel like diapers. Cloth training pants are the ideal first step after diapers.

Yes some can, but if you are trying to potty train you should be wearing pull ups, or some training underwear. Do not try to force them though, it will only make the problem worse, show them, if its a girl, let her see you when you go to use the potty, this will encourage her, if its a boy, let a man show them when they go to the potty (someone your trust). You can show them too, since the first step for everyone is sitting down.

My 2 year old wears pull ups. We try to put underwear on him during the day to potty train, but if we go out or during the night he wears pull ups.

some do, some don't. it's about the age to start thinking about potty-training but only if the child is cognitively, physically, and emotionally ready.
some who are starting to think about potty training wear pull-ups (kind of like a diaper only they pull up and down like underwear)
already potty trained? well, same as me and you-underwear!!

They wear diapers or pullups if they aren't potty trained and underpants if they are trained.

At that age, they are in either pull-ups or maybe even potty trained. My kids were not fully trained until almost 3 though.
