A thankful one. Last year at this time my life was in shambles. Finances, drug addicted daughter, marriage suffering, it was just a very sad time. One year later my life is filled with blessings. Finances are getting better, daughter is clean, marriage is back on track. I am so very thankful for my life.

I am close to ending my 50's and, if I can be accurate, I would say I am living the mid-autumn season of my life. For one, my hair has changed color and fallen (like leaves) and so has my libido (although strong winds blow once in a while and lift it). My facial and body muscles are beginning to lose tone and will also fall within time. Nights are cooler than before. Despite my corporal changes, I feel young at heart and try to live my life accordingly. Aging is a natural process. You can delay it but there's nothing that can stop it.
All we can do is "live one day at a time."

rather In or out of season I pray that I would be instant in the things of the Lord. And at his return. I not be found in the season of winter, dry and bearened, hard hearted towards him and his creation.
For in and Out of Season I will be well seasoned..

I am going through a mid-life crisis. I know what it is, but I can't seem to keep it under control.

I just want to bust loose! I just want to dye my hair pink, shop at Old Navy, learn to Salsa, learn to play the guitar, skinny dip in the ocean...

I live in the present. Not in my past, and not in my future, but in the present. I live only for this particular day that God has blessed me with. Praise the Lord!!
