How long were you together? If you were together for along time then I am sure that he still has some type of feelings for you. I don't think that it is a good thing for you to keep sleeping with him. That will only confuse things. If he is going to be your x then you need to cut him off from everything. Not just your feelings.

Not enough info. I am answering assuming he broke it off because it seems that way from the wording of the question.
He is probably just using you for sex. Sorry but us guys do stuff like that. It sounds to me like you are only in it hoping things will go back. They might, but it won't stay that way. Guys will commit when it is the right person and they are mature enough. But if he split, there was a reason and unless that reason really changes it will happen again.

When are you women gonna get it? Do not have sex with your exboyfriends and start thinking he somehow still loves or cares about you. Hello! He is ex for a reason I gather. Ladies wake the hell up already. Smell the coffee or the sex in the air. He ain't in love with you. He is in love with your doggystyle. Oh, the humanity!!!!!

Yeah after you break up, even if you're "friends" and you have sex, it's just that... sex.
Me and one my ex's did that for a year and a half, always under the condition that it's just sex and that we'd end it once we got a new boyfriend/girlfriend.
If you're really unsure, or you don't like having sex for sex sake, then talk to him and tell him that... you shouldn't delude yourself about any chances of actually getting back together.

Sex does not equal love, caring, or emotion.
He is enjoying sex without the committment.
I suggest you let him know what you are looking for in a man, in a relationship. If he doesn't want that (right now, not "we'll see what happens"), then leave him alone.

Probably not, If he cared for you, you would still be in the relationship. It's called friends with benefits...Either enjoy or move on.

he's a guy, your letting him have his cake and eat it too. you are still sleeping with him but not together which is right up his alley. you need to be with someone who is nt afraid of a relationship.
