There is this guy I like do you think I should make the first move?

He is in my church
We talk sometimes
We are the same age
we like the same things
I don't have his telephoon number but I can find it in the phoon book or would that make me look to desperad
His mother told him to talk to me so that he can have a friend but he only talk to me sometimes.
This friday 1 Dec there is this christmas concert I am going to do you think I should ask him because my mom said I should ask himbut when I told her I don't have his telphoon number she did not say anything and she did not talk to me about it again there is yust two days left to ask him. I don't want to make the first move but if I don't I will never knowe howe he realy is. I dont want to make the first move because I always do it I realy want him to make the first move.
So please help me to decide what to do!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally like it when a girl makes the first move, but I would DEFINITELY not get his number from the phone book and call him... too stalker like.

Is there any other way for you to get in contact with him before Friday? If so, I'd definitely say invite him, and just see his response.

It'd be better if you asked him. He probably wants to ask you, but is too conservative. Go ask him! And once he says yes and a big smile lights up his face, you'll know why...
